Jakarta Cooperative, Small Medium Enterprises, and Trade (KUKMP) Department holds Business Communication and Marketing Training for 180 Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Central Jakarta from July 30 to August 2, 2019. 6 of those SMEs are disabled people.

KUKMP Department Head, Adi Ariantara mentioned, his side invites speakers from Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) University who teaches participants about SMEs marketing strategy, communication and negotiation for SMEs, development through effective marketing mix, and Business Model Canvas (BMC).
"Through this training, we want to teach them how to compile a good marketing strategy since it can strengthen their position in national economic activities and help them to develop and get benefits," he informed, Wednesday (7/31).
According to him, effective marketing communication strategy implementation is important because it directly impacts SMEs selling.
"Marketing communication is also important to be applied based on local culture, lifestyle, buying habits, consumption pattern, communication media, and others. This way helps SMEs to know its market's demand and need," he explained.
